Treatment process is completed after that.
If patient abides by recovery care advised by doctor, recovery process can be shortened. Possible pain and infections are stopped by proper medication. After the implant application, there can be mild swelling and redness on cheeks. This change will not hinder daily life activities. A proper diet is necessary in the recovery process. After the application, hard and hot foods should be avoided. A well-balanced diet should be eaten. Dental floss and mouthwash can be used to decrease the number of bacteria in mouth.
Patients with diabetes, young persons who have not completed their bone development, pregnant women, substance users, patients with haemophilia and patients with immune deficiencies constitutes risk group for implant application. For different risks, your doctor apply necessary tests and implant is applied to patients without risks.
